I won this tin Scooby-Doo bank a few years ago through a Twitter contest. The bank is copyright 2012 and Made in China. The dimension of the bank are 3 3/4" tall x 3" wide x 3" deep.
When I won the bank, some people were not very happy. They claimed that the contest was rigged because I am @ScoobyAddict and I won a Scooby bank. A little controversy over a fun addition to my collection.
Very cool! It's a shame that people can be so immature like that simply because things didn't go exactly the way they wanted it to. It's incredibly illogical to think that they would rig the contest just because you entered it. Makes perfect sense that a Scooby fan such as yourself would win it, after all if you weren't a fan of Scooby you wouldn't have entered the contest in the first place. Seems pretty consistent though with how the Internet is now days, unfortunately. Some people feel the need to throw a huge temper tantrum if things don't turn out in the way they "should have." Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI have entered a lot of Scooby contests, and I only ever won 2...this one and I won Scooby-Doo and The Alien Invaders on DVD. I'm pretty sure contests aren't rigged in my favor!
