October Fan Spotlight - Derek

Derek

Derek is my October Fan Spotlight. This picture is all he currently has in his collection, but he plans on getting more. I feel that every Scooby fan should be spotlighted, not just the fans with the huge collections. Every fan is important in my book, and Derek is very happy to share his Scooby collection with us.

Check out Derek on Twitter!

1. What was the first Scooby series you ever watched?

The first series that I watched was the original Scooby doo where are you?

2. Who is your favorite member of the gang and why?

I never really had a favorite character because I always thought of them as a whole instead of individuals

3. What is your favorite Scooby item in your collection?

My favorite thing in my collection is not what I have but what I plan on getting with the encyclopedia

4. What is one Scooby item you would love to add to your collection?

One thing that I would love to add to my collection would be an original drawing from the original show

Thank you, Derek, for being my October Fan Spotlight!

My Scooby Stuff - Day 304 - 10" Plush Skeleton Scooby

Day 304 - 10" Plush Skeleton Scooby

I felt that this Halloween Scooby-Doo was the perfect post for today, since it is Halloween. This 10" Scooby plush is from Hallmark. He is officially called Scooby-Doo Boo! He shakes and rattles to spooky music. Check out my video of Scooby in action on my YouTube channel.

Scooby is dressed up like a skeleton and he's holding a trick-or-treat bag.

You can really see the skeleton costume from the back.

Here is kind of a top view of Scooby. You can see his collar a little better in this picture.

Here is the tag that is attached to Scooby. He is copyright 2010 and made in China. He sold for $24.95 in the USA and $24.99 in Canada.

The inside of the tag has Zoinks Points and some general info about what he says and how to turn him on and off.

Here is the other tag that is attached to him.

Scooby takes 2 AA batteries. You press his foot to hear him make noise.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 302 - Scooby-Doo Skateboarding Picture

Day 302 - Scooby-Doo Skateboarding Picture

I have this picture of Scooby-Doo skateboarding. It's one of those pictures you get at a carnival. One of my kids won it and eventually gave it to me for my collection. It is framed in a cardboard frame that is pretty sturdy. It measures 12" tall by 10" wide with the frame.

It is hard to see in the picture, but the picture is copyright 2000 and made in the USA.

I have a larger poster with this exact picture that I posted on day 277.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 300 - Shaggy Itty Bittys Plush

Day 300 - Shaggy Itty Bittys Plush

How cute is this Shaggy itty bittys plush from Hallmark? Shaggy stands 4 1/2" tall and he is super soft. He's quite adorable!

He looks a little odd from the side, since his hair is a little bigger in the front and you really can't see his face. He kind of reminds me of Link from The Legend of Zelda from the side.

I'm not sure what he looks like from behind. Maybe a monkey with clothes? He has a very monkey-like head from behind. You can see he has a Hallmark tag attached to his left side.

This Hallmark ittybittys tag is plain, but cute. It has Shaggy's name on it and shows it was $6.95.

The back of the tag shows that this is copyright 2015 and made in China. Hallmark also has a website just for their itty bittys.

The other tags show the materials used to make Shaggy, the copyright info and that it was exclusive to Hallmark.

The other side of the Hallmark tag says itty bittys, which you can see in this picture.

This Shaggy itty bittys is really cute! The other ones will be fun to post too!

My Scooby Stuff - Day 298 - Scooby Spiral Bound Notebook

Day 298 - Scooby Spiral Bound Notebook

I have always loved this Scooby-Doo spiral bound notebook. The cover has Scooby's face. It's so cute and friendly and it really makes me happy to look at it.

All of the pages have "Scooby-Doo!" across them. It makes the pages more exciting and less plain than normal notebooks.

This is the inside cover. I like the paw prints all over and the Scooby-Doo! written in yellow. The coloring is nice.

The back cover has Scooby's tail on it, which is really cool.

The notebook is copyright 1997 and made in China.
