I love Scooby-Doo and this is my space to share my Scooby journey with you. You'll find my podcast episodes, interviews, Scooby merchandise and more! Scooby-Dooby-Doo!!
Scooby Panel #14 was released on November 6, 2021. In that panel, we discussed the episode title cards from Where Are You to Guess Who. Wendy and Will had the great idea of having the artists in the Scooby community re-create the title cards for the series and so we did!
Our first title card challenge was for the series Scooby Doo, Where Are You! and was released on April 18, 2022. 19 Scooby-Doo fans re-created the title cards of seasons 1 and 2.
I thought about doing the re-creations in order of how the series aired, but ended up doing The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo next. That one was released on October 31, 2022. It was the perfect series for Halloween. The title cards were created by 13 different Scooby fans and everyone did an amazing job!
The New Scooby-Doo Movies was next and that one was released on March 26, 2023. Such a fun series to do the title cards for since the series included the guest stars. 20 Scooby fans created the title cards, including Scooby-Doo comic and book artist Scott Jeralds. What an honor to have him working on the re-creations with us.
The 4th re-creation challenge was for A Pup Named Scooby-Doo and was released October 31, 2023. I also thought this one would be a fun series for Halloween time. 22 artists joined the challenge. Since I didn’t stay in order of the series airing, I opted for Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue, which was released April 27, 2024. It was such an odd series, but the timing just worked out for this one. 18 artists joined the challenge.
The Scooby-Doo Show Seasons 1 & 2 was next! I decided on just seasons 1 and 2 because there were artists that wanted to do several title cards, but wouldn’t have time in 1 challenge. There were also so many title cards to do and I didn’t know if I could get enough people to do them all. So I broke out season 3 to do next. Also, with October being such a busy month, I moved the release of this one to December. The video was released December 31, 2024. 18 artists worked on the cards.
The latest title card re-creation challenge, released on June 30, 2025, was for The Scooby-Doo Show Season 3. 15 artists got together to design these title cards. Each artist was supposed to only do 1 title card, but I had someone bail last minute, so Wendy amazingly was able to complete one of the title cards in 5 hours, the day it was due! She was a lifesaver! Thank you so much, Wendy!
These challenges have been so much fun! I love bringing the Scooby community together to work on projects like this. There are so many talented people in the community. I am blown away by the title cards created by everyone. I love how creative everyone is.
To everyone that has participated in these challenges, thank you so much. You are all so talented! I love seeing your work, whether in the challenges or on social media.
I am so excited to continue with these challenges. I haven’t chosen the next series yet, but I will be working on that and will get the sign-up done as soon as I have it planned out so people can sign up.
If you haven’t signed up before and you want to be part of future challenges, let me know.
Be sure to stay tuned for the next title card re-creation challenge…
Oriental Trading Companyhas always been a great place to get little trinkets for goody bags for parties. I used to buy from them all the time when my kids were in elementary school and I always wished they would have Scooby-Doo stuff.
I was scrolling through Facebook today and an ad came up for Oriental Trading that had a little picture of Scooby-Doo. I clicked on it, not thinking to take a screenshot of the ad because now I can’t find it, and to my surprise, there was so much Scooby stuff on their site! It was really cool to see it all there, even if I wasn’t thrilled with the prices.
Here are some of the items they have available:
There are several products available for Valentine’s Day – Valentine’s cards that come with pencils, temporary tattoos and personalized crayons.
They have craft kits, including one for Easter and one for 4th of July. They have also sold Christmas ornament craft kits.
Coloring books and pencils are great for goodie bags. They are even better when they have Scooby-Doo on them!
You can’t go wrong with stickers and pins, which both sets seem to have matching designs. The pull-back Mystery Machine is pretty cool too!
In additional to all these little trinkets, they also sell the Trick-or-Treat studio masks, Handmade By Robots figures, Gemmy Industries inflatables and more.
Be sure to check out Oriental Trading Company’s website if you’re looking for little Scooby items for goody bags or just want to add them to your collection. Hopefully, they will keep adding Scooby items to their inventory.
I would love to buy all the items on their site, but it’s just not cost effective for me to do so. Maybe a bunch of us could get together, we each buy one of the items and then we each send 1 to each other. Since the items come in packs of 12 to 24, it could work out pretty good. If anyone is interested, let me know!
This interview was 2 years in the making and Scott did not disappoint! Over the past 2 years, we have gotten to know Scott a bit.
Scott has had an extensive career in animation and I knew there were projects that he’s worked on that never saw the light of day. I was excited to talk to him about them, and incredibly excited when he offered pictures of those projects to go with the conversation.
One project was called Son of Scooby-Doo, which he first mentioned on The Unmasked History of Scooby-Doo Podcast. I have been obsessed with learning more about this project since that interview aired on August 21, 2020. I had to know what the son of Scooby-Doo looked like and who he hung out.
Scott talks about the Son of Scooby-Doo and some other projects that he worked on with Iwao Takamoto that didn’t get made. He shared some images from those projects, which you can see in the YouTube version of the interview.
In addition to these projects, Scott talks about his career and he tells us some great stories! You don’t want to miss this interview!
January is almost over and I wanted to end the month with my list of Scooby stuff that is coming in 2024. I’m sure I am missing something, so if you know of something else, let me know and I’ll add it and credit you.
2023 went by so fast! It felt like such a blur. My mind still thinks it is June 2023, yet here we are in January 2024.
There are a few things I hope to see this year…a new series, besides Velma season 2, a new movie and some fun merchandise. I’d also like to see them release Scoob! Holiday Haunt! Puppy Scooby from Scoob was super adorable and we need to have more of him!

MY THOUGHTS
As I was compiling this list, I was thinking there was barely anything coming in 2024! Seeing it all in one blog post makes me realize just how much stuff has been released already this month and how much we still have coming! I’m looking forward to a great year! I just hope it doesn’t go by as fast as last year!
What the hell are people thinking with some of the merchandise that gets released? Wendy, Joel and I found some very interesting, and some inappropriate, Scooby items that are for sale, whether they are official or handmade. Some of the items on our list were just weird. haha
Do you know of any weird Scooby-Doo merchandise that we missed?
Due to the graphic nature of this panel, you do have to be 18+ in order to watch it. We hope you enjoy this one!
We all know that Scooby and Shaggy love to eat! They love any kind of food, even things we would find to be gross. I had to watch 30+ episodes of Scrappy to prep for this episode, which was difficult, but amazingly in The Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo Show and The New Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo Show, there weren’t many gross foods. Don’t worry, we still had plenty of stuff to taste test!
Wendy, Danii and Devin joined me for this episode. They are all such great sports and hopefully didn’t get sick from the crazy concoctions we came up with.
The Scooby gang have so many iconic catchphrases. Words that you typically don’t hear anyone else say, so they are very unique to the gang. When you hear things like Jinkies! Jeepers! Zoinks! and Ruh Roh!, who comes to mind? Usually a member of the Scooby gang, right?
Wendy, Joel and I had a very interesting conversation about the gangs catchphrases. We talk about our favorites and if we have any of our own. Do you have a favorite gang catchphrase?
The 2 year anniversary of the Scooby Panel was on May 8, 2023. It is still so hard to imagine we’ve been doing Scooby Panel for 2 years! I was just a shy, timid Scooby fan looking for people to talk to about Scooby, not even sure that I could host a podcast/web series. I had the idea for years, but I was too afraid to start because I thought people would think I was dumb or my opinions wouldn’t be good enough. Then, one day, I did a live chat with someone and after that my husband convinced me to just do it!
If you’re like me, you like to talk about Scooby and non-Scooby fans just don’t want to carry on a conversation with you because it is of no interest to them. They might call Shaggy a stoner, but that’s the extent of the supposed knowledge they have about the show. Then you get eye rolls, the occasional “when are you going to grow up?” and then they walk away and you’re left feeling empty.
Scooby Panel has been amazing! I’ve made so many friends and have enjoyed every conversation we’ve had. The almost 100 hours of actual recording that has been released has been exactly what I hoped the Scooby Panel would be…friends talking about Scooby-Doo, respecting each others opinions and having fun! The fun doesn’t stop when we finish the panel recording, it usually goes on for another 2 to 3 hours of after conversation, because we all enjoy talking to each other so much.
I feel lucky to be a part of the Scooby community and to have such amazing people to share this journey with. I feel good that people enjoy being on the Scooby Panel and they want to come back on again and again. I am honored that the people we have interviewed have given us their time and shared their stories with us. They are so important as they have created movies and episodes of our favorite Great Dane and his pals! Everyone should know who they are and what they have contributed to the franchise.
I want to give a huge shout out to Wendy Brydge, who has been a part of the Scooby Panel since day 1. She has been on almost every episode. She’s extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Scooby-Doo and I couldn’t ask for a better co-host.
I also want to thank Joel for being a part of so many panels in season 2. He’s got a lot of knowledge about Scooby-Doo as well and he brings up a lot of great points. He also keeps the after conversations going until as late as possible, I think the latest being 3:17am.
Additionally, shout out to Cameron Bates, who was a huge part of season 1. Cam has a lot of Scooby knowledge as well and you could always count on him to give us some blooper moments.
A special thanks to everyone who has been on a panel. It has been amazing getting to know you all and sharing our love of Scooby-Doo. Thank you so much for your time!
I am excited to see what season 3 has in store for us and to continue our Scooby talks.
Thanks to everyone who has watched a panel and our Patreon subscribers. It’s awesome that you all enjoy the panels so much and we appreciate the time you spend watching them.
Now, we hope you enjoy our 2 year anniversary panel!
