My Scooby Stuff - Day 181 - Pirate Fred Figure

Day 181 - Pirate Fred Figure

Pirate Fred is part of the Scooby-Doo Pirate Crew 5 pack set. Fred's arms move and the flag can be removed from his hand. Fred stands 2 3/4" tall.

Here are the side views of Fred. It's kind of crazy how the bird looks like it is looking at you from the side, front and back. They positioned it's eyes to make sure it can see you from most angles.

Pirate Fred is copyright 2010 by Character Options Ltd. and made in China.

Check out the Pirate Velma figure I posted on day 170.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 180 - Scooby Expansion Card Pack

Day 180 - Scooby Expansion Card Pack

I have these 2 Scooby-Doo Expandable Card Game booster packs, though I don't think I have the starter deck. I haven't opened these, but if I ever find the starter deck, I might open them.

This is part of a card game where you can help Scooby and the gang solve mysteries in the haunted castle or on a spooky island. The pack says it is necessary to have the starter deck in order to play the game.

This expansion pack is copyright 2000 and made in USA.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 179 - Gang Magic Towel

Day 179 - Gang Magic Towel

This Scooby-Doo gang magic towel is pretty cool. I like that the whole gang is on it. It's more colorful with the black background too. It has some wear and tear on it from being used.

The magic towel is copyright 2013 and made in China.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 178 - Daphne Paper Mask

Day 178 - Daphne Paper Mask

Here is another mask I got from the LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Tour at the Bridgewater Mall in NJ. This Daphne mask is perforated around her face and eyes so you can remove it from the full page very easily.

The mask is copyright 2015.

Check out the other masks I posted:

June Fan Spotlight - Jason

Jason just happened to contact me a few weeks ago and he sent me some pictures of his Scooby-Doo collection. I was thrilled when he said he would do the fan spotlight for the month of June.

1. What was the first Scooby series you ever watched?

The first Scooby series I watched was The New Scooby Doo Mysteries (the episode and still favorite is Scoo-be or not Scoo-Be.)

2. Who is your favorite member of the gang and why?

Scooby Doo, because not only does he go through GREAT lengths to avoid the bad guys, he ends up catching them unintentionally and in a humorous way.

3. What is your favorite Scooby item in your collection?

This is a tough question because I love all my Scooby collection but I'd say my Scooby Doo bubble blower from the Hanna Barbara store.

4. What is one Scooby item you would love to add to your collection?

A Mint condition copy of the gold key series  Scooby Doo Where Are You comic signed by Don Messick and sealed.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 177 - Kids Scooby Slippers

Day 177 - Kids Scooby Slippers

These Scooby-Doo slippers are adorable! If I had little kid sized feet, I'd wear them every day! The one on the right has some wear and tear. There is a some wear on his nose and the threading under his eyes is loose. These belonged to my youngest son, who used to wear them all the time.

They have cuffs to keep them from slipping off too easily. The cuffs have orange, yellow, brown and blue rings of color.

Scooby's mouth opens (if you open it by hand) and there is a blue SD tag on the side of each slipper. That is as close to his tag as these slippers have. This picture is a little creepy of Scooby as he looks like he has zombie eyes.

The slippers are copyright 2005 and made in China. They are a kids size 13.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 176 - Scooby-Doo Matchbox Cars

Day 176 - Scooby-Doo Matchbox Cars

I happened to find these Scooby-Doo cars in my attic when I was trying to clean some stuff up. It was a great find! I've been looking for another container of Scooby stuff that I am missing and when I looked in a container I found this Matchbox set! I knew I had Scooby-Doo cars somewhere!

This one is my favorite! My favorite car, besides the Mystery Machine, is a Corvette. I really want a 1978 Corvette Pace Car! A Scooby-Doo Corvette would be super cool too!

This van is pretty cool! It's kind of like the Mystery Machine, but it has the gang on the side of it.

I like the Scooby on the side of this car. It reminds me of a pace car, but not as cool as a Corvette.

This water truck has a surfing Scooby on it. Pretty cool!

The jeep is also really cool! It says Scooby-Doo Safari Camp.

As far as I can see, none of these cars have license plates.

This sticker comes with the set. It looks similar to the green Jeep that comes in the set too.

The back of the box shows the gang in what reminds me of Hip Hop like poses.

The Matchbox cars are copyright 2007 and made in China or Thailand.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 175 - Scooby Bubble Blower

Day 175 - Scooby Bubble Blower

I have this really awesome Scooby-Doo bubble blower. You put 2 C batteries in him and then his arm raises and lowers so he can blow bubbles. I managed to get this cool picture of him in action. Scooby stands 8" tall.

Check out my video of the bubble blower in action! Check out the video on YouTube.

This is what he looks like from the sides. Over his right shoulder is a towel and he's holding the bubble wand in his right hand. The entire thing is plastic. Only his right arm moves.

The on/off switch is in the middle of his back. From behind, you can see it looks like he's sitting in a sea of bubbles.

Here are some other pictures of Scooby in action. The pictures of him blowing bubbles are pretty cool.

The Scooby-Doo bubble blower is copyright 2004 and made in China.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 174 - Where Are You Comic 8

Day 174 - Where Are You Comic 8

Charlton Comics Scooby-Doo...Where Are You! number 8. This comic includes 2 stories - The Ghost of Grizzly Gulch! and Time Machine Trauma. The Mystery Machine is green in this one too.

The cover features all 5 members of the gang. It sold for 30 cents. Wouldn't it be nice if comics were 30 cents now?

This comic is copyright June 1976.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 173 - Plush Super Scooby

Day 173 - Plush Super Scooby

It's Super Scooby to the rescue!! I have had this Scooby for a long time. He's so cute dressed up as a superhero with his mask and cape with the SD logo on it. He measures 10" long.

His triangular spots are the same on both sides and he is pretty symmetrical. The tag attached to his left ear was a bit annoying for taking pictures, but I made it work without removing it.

Here is a good view of Scooby's cape. That SD logo is just awesome!

Here is a better picture of Scooby's face and his collar. He has his traditional SD collar on as well as having the logo on the his cape.

I always liked this tag. It's got a nice design to it.

Super Scooby is copyright 2010. This tag also has Zoinks Points, which are now obsolete. He was made in China.

Surprisingly, the tag says it is for all ages. I would think with his collar being able to be pulled off that this would be for ages 3 and up at least.

The tag that is attached to Scooby also shows the same info from the other tag.
