My Scooby Stuff - Day 212 - Arabian Nights DVD

Day 212 - Arabian Nights DVD

Scooby-Doo! in Arabian Nights is very misleading! I don't even know why Scooby's name is associated with this. Shaggy and Scooby tell the stories of a young girl aided by two genies - Yogi and Boo-Boo and of Sinbad the Sailor played by Magilla Gorilla. This is on my worst Scooby movie list! The only good thing about this is that Don Messick does the voice of Scooby and Casey Kasem does the voice of Shaggy.

The back of the DVD lists the special features, which include Get the Picture: Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, America Loves Scooby-Doo Music Video and Trailers for other Scooby and family videos.

Here is the inside of the DVD. The left side shows the scene selections and the DVD is on the right. Is it weird that Yogi, Boo-Boo and Magilla Garilla are the stars of the show, but they are not really on the DVD case at all? Magilla is very small on the inside cover of the DVD and Yogi is on the back cover.

Scooby-Doo! in Arabian Nights DVD is copyright 2003, though it came out in 1994. It's run time is 69 minutes.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 211 - Fred Paper Mask

Day 211 - Fred Paper Mask

The Fred paper mask came from the LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Tour at the Bridgewater Mall in NJ. Like the other masks I have posted, it is perforated around his face and eyes so you can remove it from the full page very easily.

It has a warning on it that it has small parts and it is a choking hazard for kids under 3.

The mask is copyright 2015.

Check out the other masks I posted:

My Scooby Stuff - Day 210 - Scared Scooby Magic Towel

Day 210 - Scared Scooby Magic Towel

Here is another Scooby-Doo Magic Towel that I have. I got them for $1 at the Dollar Tree. I have some that I have used and some that I haven't. This happens to be one that I used. It's in better shape than some of my other ones.

The Magic Towel is copyright 2013. It is made of 100% cotton and made in China. The tag is a bit crumpled, but it is still very readable.

July Fan Spotlight - Derek

I am pleased to introduce you to Derek as the July fan spotlight! Derek is a huge Scooby fan! He likes Scooby so much that he has a Scooby-Doo Podcast called That Groovy Scoobcast. If you haven't listened to it, you can find it on iTunes, SoundCloud, Google Play and Stitcher.

Derek was nice enough to share some pictures of his Scooby collection with me. To learn more about Derek, please check him out on Social Media:

Derek on Instagram

Here is just a small part of his Scooby collection.

1. What was the first Scooby series you ever watched?

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! (My first exposure to SD was Zombie Island)

2. Who is your favorite member of the gang and why?

My favorite member would be Scooby, or Shaggy if picking a human member. Scooby is so funny and sweet and people often say I remind them of Shaggy.

3. What is your favorite Scooby item in your collection?

My favorite collection piece would probably be my VHS copy of "Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island" because it was my very first S-D movie and also is the reason I fell in love with the cartoon.

4. What is one Scooby item you would love to add to your collection?

I would LOVE a legitimate print of the original Scooby-Doo concept artwork that was presented to CBS when the original cartoon was still in development. Having a legit print would be so wonderful and I'd love it.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 209 - DC Comic Book 36

Day 209 - DC Comic Book 36

This is an interesting Scooby-Doo comic book. It features all 5 gang members and can you believe Scooby hates food? No Way! I got this comic a long time ago for 10 cents at a yard sale.

I really like this page! The gang is so excited! I think they all look ok, though they don't completely look like the original character form. Daphne and Fred probably look the closest.

This comic is copyright July 2000.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 208 - Scooby Magnet

Day 208 - Scooby Magnet

This Scooby-Doo magnet is pretty cool. Scooby is standing upright and he looks pretty happy. His collar is missing the SD, but it is at least the right colors. The magnet is made of a soft plastic and it stands 3" tall.

This magnet is copyright 1997 and made in China.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 207 - 6 1/2" Plush Scooby Beanie Baby

Day 207 - 6 1/2" Plush Scooby Beanie Baby

This 6 1/2" Scooby-Doo Ty Beanie Baby is pretty cute. He looks pretty happy.

His collar is a little more blue than turquoise. His dog tag seems to be the correct colors, so it doesn't really match his collar.

He was made pretty symmetrical, at least from the back.

The tag on his ear says he is a TY Beanie Baby. This plush is for ages 3 and up. They say you should remove the tag and keep it for reference.

The inside of the tag has the Scooby-Doo! logo, copyright info and some text.

The tag on Scooby shows that he is copyright 2008 and made in China.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 206 - Scooby Karate T-Shirt

Day 206 - Scooby Karate T-Shirt

This is one of my favorite Scooby-Doo T-shirts! It is a karate Scooby with 2 dragons behind him. It's so cool! I really love doing martial arts. I wish I could continue taking classes.

Here is a close-up of the picture on the shirt. Too cool!

The shirt has the green swirl Scooby tag on it.

The shirt is copyright 1998.

It is 100% cotton. The inside tag is harder to read as the shirt is pretty old.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 205 - LEGO Mystery Plane

Day 205 - LEGO Mystery Plane

I have this LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Plane, which I haven't opened yet. It just sits in the box. One of these days, I will put it together.

The back of the box shows the entire set and icons of many of the Scooby-Doo LEGO mini figures. I bought this set for $19.99.

These are the 3 figures that come with this set - Scooby, Shaggy and the Headless Horseman. I like Scooby's goggles.

This is a closer look at what comes with the set.

These are all of the sides of the box. They show the copyright info, warnings, barcode, etc.

The set is copyright 2015.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 204 - Scooby-Doo Maskimal

Day 204 - Scooby-Doo Maskimal

This is so awesome!!! I have seen this Scooby-Doo mask posted on Facebook and people saying they got it at Walmart. Every time I've gone to Walmart, they didn't have it. My Walmart never seems to have Scooby stuff. I decided to look it up on their website today and I saw they had it for sale online. I sent the link to my hubby. He told me to go buy it, but I figured now wasn't a good time to be buying things so I didn't go out. When he got home from work, he walked in the door wearing the Scooby mask. So cool!!

Scooby looks a little weird from the side. The mask is sort of caved in so it's hard to maintain the shape. Plus the tag on his ear wasn't cooperating for pictures. This mask is so freakin' cool though!

It looks like Scooby from the back too! Look at those ears and the collar :)

The Warner Bros. tag is really cool! I love it! It has the whole gang peaking out from behind the WB logo. The other side of the tag is instructions on how to put the mask on. The instructions say 1. Unfold. 2. Pull open at bottom. 3. Press inside to smooth out. 4. Place over your head. That seems easy enough! This tag also has the copyright info. The mask is copyright 2018 and made in China.

There is another tag which cautions you not to wear the mask while smoking, swimming, driving, operating machinery or any activity in which full vision and hearing are essential. Also to be careful while walking up or down stairs and crossing the street. Common sense stuff!

This is what the inside of the mask looks like. It's hot in there!

It's a really cool mask! Have I mentioned how awesome it is? I just love it :)

My hubby took these pictures at Walmart when he picked up the mask. The display case shows someone wearing the Scooby mask.
