Day 15 - Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Board Game

I got this Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! board game a few years ago. I don't know if it has all the pieces, and the box is pretty worn out, but it's awesome to have. There is a 10 cent tag on the box lid from a yard sale. I do think it's odd that The Mystery Machine is pink.

The game was created by Milton Bradley Company, copyright 1973.

Here is the game board and the pieces that came with the it. I have no idea if these are all of the pieces that go with it. 

Here are some close-ups of the game board. Again, The Mystery Machine is pink and it doesn't look like The Mystery Machine on the box cover.

These are the instructions for the game. The first player to reach the treasure wins the game!

Both the game board and the instruction card have 1973 as the copyright date. This was also Made in the U.S.A.

Day 14 - 3-Drawer Container

This 3-drawer Scooby container is next to my bed. I use it as a nightstand. I don't remember where I bought it, I just remember that when I saw it I had to have it and it was the last one. This is copyright 1999. The eyes and bones on the decals glow-in-the-dark.

This metal Scooby Thermos lunchbox is really cool! It's a little beat up, has some wear and tear, even has the remains of a Mork & Mindy sticker on the inside lid. It's a fun addition to my collection. It's never used, and is just displayed in my China cabinet. 

There is a thermos inside of the lunchbox. This is probably the oldest piece I have in my collection.

You can see the remnants of the Mork & Mindy sticker in the picture. I keep bubble wrap inside the lunchbox all the time to keep the thermos from moving around while it is stored. I don't want the thermos to get more scratched up than it is.

January Fan Spotlight - Carson

Here is another ideas I had for 2018...a Scooby fan spotlight! Each month, I will feature a Scooby fan. They will answer a few questions and I'll post pictures of them with their collection, items in their collection that are really unique, or items that they just love. I think the Scooby fans need some time in the spotlight!

Carson

I chose Carson for January because I see him as a "Super Scooby Fan!" He loves Scooby and he really enjoys collecting Scooby stuff. Carson likes to feature his collection live on Facebook at times. 1. What was the first Scooby series you ever watched? 

My first Scooby Series I ever watched was Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Love that series! Great stress reliever.

2. Who is your favorite member of the gang and why?

My favorite gang member would have to be Scooby-Doo OF COURSE! But my other favorite is daphne!

3. What is your favorite Scooby item in your collection?

My favorite item in my Scooby-Doo collection is my Original production cel from Scooby-Doo and the Witches Ghost! Got it for Xmas and I love it so much!

4. What is one Scooby item you would love to add to your collection?

My one item I would want in my Scooby-Doo collection some time would be the thermos Scooby-Doo lunch box! It’s from the 70s and I want it sometime! Would be cool!

My Scooby Stuff - Day 12 - Keychain

Day 12 - Keychain

I love this Scooby keychain. It's so cute! He looks so happy just sitting there. It stands a little taller than 2" and has a copyright date of 2002.

I haven't used this as a keychain. He stays on top of my piano and oversees everything.

This diecast Hot Wheels Mystery Machine by Mattel is a great addition to any collection. Not only has it never been taken out of the original packaging, but it is also in another protective case. This has a copyright date of 2015.

I like how the back of the box says "For the adult collector!" It makes me happy to see that they make stuff just for us adults who collect Scooby stuff. I was just told on Saturday that I need to grow up because of my Scooby collection and the fact that I keep Scooby stuff in my china cabinet.

My Scooby Stuff - Day 10 - HeroWorld Funko Vinyl Figures

Day 10 - HeroWorld Funko Vinyl Figures

I picked up the HeroWorld Funko vinyl figures yesterday. They are so cool! These figures are exclusive to Target and were hard to find in the store. They only had 2 of each set available on the shelf, so they either sold quickly or each store only got a few sets. 

I'm posting this as day 10 of my collection because they are new and really cool! I haven't taken them out of the packaging, but I did my best to get closeups of the gang through it. Some of the pictures may show some distortion because the pictures were taken through the packaging. 

Shaggy has a sandwich, which is very Shaggy! He's always hungry! He's also the only one of the gang that is holding anything. Scooby is just standing there. He's so cute! I like his collar. 

Daphne and Velma are cool. I wish they would have given Velma a magnifying glass to hold instead of putting her hands behind her back. 

Fred looks like he's very happy, but his folded arms say he is not.

They all have giant feet and hands which are not completely proportionate to the rest of the figure. Since it's Funko, I think they can get away with that.

I like the artwork on the back of the box. It shows the villains that are available. I picked those up too. Since I got a Target gift card for Christmas, I figured I would get the set.

There is the Witch Doctor and Phantom set. I haven't taken them out of the package yet either.

They are pretty cool! They also have the big hands and feet.

The Snow Ghost and Ghost Clown set.

Again with the big hands and feet and not taken out of the package.

This is the back of both of the villain sets. I really like this artwork. Someone put some thought into the packaging for these figures! It's not just green and purple.

I wonder if they will make any more of these figures? Maybe more villains or a Mystery Machine?
