My Adventure with Scooby in Canada

We spent a few days in Canada this week and of course Scooby had to join us. I pretty much take Scooby everywhere with me.

Niagara

We started our trip at Niagara Falls. This is the first time our kids have ever been there and it was so cool to see the Falls.

Scooby, luckily, didn't get blown over the railing since it was so windy there.

I like Moose, and since we were in Canada we decided to find this cool blue Moose statue.

Here is Scooby next to the Wizard's Golf building. It looked like a giant castle.

King Kong and Frankenstein were in Niagara too.

We found another Moose Mountie and Scooby posed with him.

We also found a big Mario!

Scooby even had a rainbow shoot out of his mouth near the Falls.

Scooby fit nicely in my pocket so he could see the sites and still be safe.

We went to the Flying Saucer Restaurant. It was like a diner in a flying saucer.

Toronto

Next, we went to Toronto and did a walking tour of downtown. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was interesting learning about the city.

We didn't go to the CN Tower, but a picture of it was a must.

These clouds were along the walking tour.

We checked out the Toronto Zoo and this was the only picture I took of Scooby there. It was so hot and we walked for an hour and a half on the walking tour and then for hours at the zoo. The Toronto Zoo is a very tiring zoo to walk around. It is very hilly and some of the habitats require walking long distances. We walked about 9 miles that day.

For dinner we went to Wimpy's Diner. This was the hamburger my hubby ordered.

On our last day, we visited Casa Loma. What a beautiful Castle!

We climbed to the top of the turret, only one of them was open. There was an amazing view!

This was in the basement of the castle.

We checked out the Poop Cafe. It was a little weird and took a little getting used to. It's hard to associate food and poop. There were poop emojis painted on the walls, poop couches and toilets to sit on, urinal glasses, and poop shaped cookies and lollipops.

Scooby was a sport! He sat on the couch and the toilet seat.

The ice cream was amazing!! This was caramel ice cream, a waffle, whipped cream, caramel corn, and strawberries. It was so good!

Scooby enjoyed the lollipop too.

Scooby posed with the giant poop.

And with the corgi.

Going Home

We stopped at Jellystone Park on the way home to get some pictures of Scooby's pal, Yogi.

It took us a little longer to get through the border on the way out of Canada. There was more traffic than when we got there.

We saw this sign and the race car at a rest area in NY.

The Buffalo nickel, buffalo statue and dog statue were in Buffalo, NY.

It was another successful trip for Scooby, and he enjoyed being out of the country. Lucky for me, he didn't need a passport.

  1. I always love seeing people enjoying a trip to Canada! Casa Loma is one of my favourite places -- when I was young, this was a must-see multiple times when we'd vacation in the south. I love that pic you took in the basement -- very Scooby Doo-ish -- particularly reminds me of McDuff Castle in "A Highland Fling With a Monstrous Thing"!

    1. We had a good time. I haven't been to Casa Loma in a few years and it was nice to take the kids there. It definitely is very Scooby Doo-ish being at a castle.
