Item 390 - Mystery Machine Batmobile

In honor of Batman Day today, I am posting this Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine Batmobile Hot Wheels car. This car was put out to promote Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which was released on DVD January 9, 2018. I don't usually take my collection items out of the package, but I decided to take this out because I have 2 of them and the packaging on this one was a little messed up so I didn't feel too bad taking it out.

I got one of them from Brent, who has The Mystery Machine of Southern Illinois and the other from Fabian, who told me about Carson Courage Cars. Carson Courage Cars was created to honor the memory of Carson, a nearly 5 year old boy who was killed in 2012 when a grave stone fell on him. Fabian sent me a Mystery Machine Batmobile to hide as a Carson Car as well. Thanks again Brent and Fabian!

This Batmobile is pretty cool! It's got the colors of the Mystery Machine and the look of the Batmobile. It measures 3" long and 3/4" tall.

Both sides look the same. The design is pretty much exact.

The bottom of the car says it is made in Malaysia and shows a copyright date of 2014, which is odd since the car wasn't released until the movie came out in 2018 and would have been made in 2017.

This is the packaging that the car came in. The front of the packaging features a picture of the car, the Hot Wheels, Scooby-Doo, Batman and DC logos and shows that this is number 3 out of 10 cars.

The back of the box has the warnings, bar code, copyright info, and consumer info. This car is number 3 out of 10 for the HW Screen Time series of Hot Wheels cars. The HW Screen Time set includes cars that are inspired by movies, TV shows, video games, etc. The other cars in this series include:

The Mystery Machine Batmobile has both 2017 (Hot Wheels) and 2018 (Batman, Scooby-Doo) as the copyright date on the back of the package.
