My Scooby Stuff - Item 403 - Scooby Phone Case

Item 403 - Scooby Phone Case

I've had a pretty rough week, so when I got this Scooby-Doo phone case I ordered last week in the mail, it made me a little happy. I chose this one because it is bright and fun.

I  don't think the case is very protective. If I drop my phone, this case probably will not do much to keep it from getting damaged, however, I really like the way it looks.

I purchased this case on Amazon for $10.99 and free shipping. The case is copyright 2019.

My Scooby Stuff - Item 402 - Santa Scooby Pop Figure

Item 402 - Santa Scooby Pop Figure

I got this Santa Scooby-Doo Funko Pop Figure for Christmas. It is not officially called Santa Scooby, but I am going to call it that. This Pop figure is number 655.

My hubby bought the entire Cyber Monday blind bundle, which included 12 Pop figures. Each Pop figure was in a box that didn't have any info about which one it was, so opening each box was fun.

In addition to Santa Scooby, the Cyber Monday set included 10" Franken Berry, Huckleberry Hound, Icee Polar Bear, Jingles, Hologram Rick Clone, Tinker Bell, Pillsbury Doughboy, Drax, Ashe, and red and green Baseball Fury.

The sides of the Santa Scooby box are similar to the other Pop figures I've posted...you can see a picture of the Pop figure on one side and the side of the actual pop figure on the other,

Here is a close up of the Pop figure. It's hard to see his Santa hat in the picture, but you can see he is tangled in a string of Christmas lights, which would be something Scooby would do. The box also has the 50 Years logo on it.

The back of the box has the Santa Scooby Pop figure along with the newest Pop figures. Santa Scooby is copyright 2019.

The top of the box has half of Scooby's head and the Funko logos.

The bottom of the box shows a bunch of warnings, copyright info and the bar code.

Each of the 12 Pop figures came in these individual boxes. The only box that said what figure it was was the Icee Polar Bear box. All of the others only said 2019 Cyber Monday Blind Bundle.

My Scooby Stuff - Item 401 - Playmobil Figure Packs

Item 401 - Playmobil Figure Packs

I got 22 Playmobil blind packs from Walmart and opened them all tonight! I am a little disappointed that I am still missing 3 of them - Black Knight, Tiki and Space Kook!

These are the ones I got - Ghost Clown (4), Indian Doctor (3), Ghost Diver (2), The Caretaker (Miner 49er) (1), Carlotta (2), Headless Horseman (1), The Creeper (2), Zen Tuo (3) and Snow Ghost (4).

Sadly, the Headless Horseman's "stem" on the top of the pumpkin was broken off.

Each figure came with a sticker and a ghost card in a package that had a number set on the back. While it looks like the numbers match, there was one number set that had 2 different figures in it.

I kept track as I opened them, and 288 19U 313 had the Snow Ghost and Headless Horseman in it. And some of the figures fell under more than 1 number. So, do the numbers really mean anything? I think they might, but they didn't make it that easy where 1 number corresponds to 1 figure.

I took the display box for the blind packs too so I have it for my collection. It will be a nice place to store the figures in their bags.

Each figure also came with this sheet that shows all of the figures and gives general directions on how to put them together.

The back of the sheet has info about the Mystery Machine set and the poster for the stickers. The figures are copyright 2019/2020 and made in Malta. The figure packages have both years as the copyright and the insert has 2020 as the copyright.

ScoobyAddicts January Photo Challenge

I created this photo challenge for the month of January. I've been following it every day, you can check out my photos on my social media pages:

The pictures do not have to be Scooby-Doo related, they can be of anything that has to do with the topic posted for that day. Just use #ScoobyPhotoChallenge in your post.

I know I'm posting this a bit late, but I'm working on next month's challenge and thought I'd post this one to the blog first. If you do the challenge, have fun with it!

My Scooby Stuff - Item 400 - Scooby Hearts Valentine Card

Item 400 - Scooby Hearts Valentine's Card

I found this Hallmark Scooby-Doo Valentine card at Walmart. The card has Scooby sitting with hearts around his head. Scooby is fuzzy to the touch. The hearts are shiny on the card.

The back of the card shows the back of Scooby and info about the card. The card is copyright 2015, though I found it in 2020. The card was made in China and it says on the back it is "made with paper from well-managed forests."

You can see a little better here how shiny the hearts are on the card.

What's New in 2020, Scooby-Doo?

It's finally 2020 and it's a big year for Scooby! While last year was Scooby's 50th anniversary, 2020 will bring a new theatrical movie and hopefully lots of merchandise.

SCOOB!

SCOOB is the upcoming movie that will be released in theaters on May 15, 2020 and will tell the story of how Scooby met Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma. The movie was originally supposed to be released on September 21, 2018, but the date got pushed back.

There has been a lot of controversy over the voice actors WB decided to use for the movie. Instead of using the normal voice actors we all know and love for the characters, WB decided it would be better for sales if they got more well known actors.

The voice actors include:

Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo
Will Forte as Shaggy Rogers
Iain Armitage as young Shaggy Rogers
Zac Efron as Fred Jones
Pierce Gagnon as young Fred Jones
Gina Rodriguez as Velma Dinkley
Ariana Greenblatt as young Velma Dinkley
Amanda Seyfried as Daphne Blake
Mckenna Grace as young Daphne Blake
Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman
Kiersey Clemons as Dee Dee Sykes
Ken Jeong as Dynomutt, Dog Wonder
Mark Wahlberg as Blue Falcon
Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly

Are you excited for Scoob? What do you think about the casting for the movie?

For more information, check out the official website for Scoob! And don't forget to take a selfie with Scooby!

Playmobil

Warner Bros. announced in June, 2019 that they would be partnering with Playmobil to make a line of Scooby-Doo toys. Those toys have finally been released as of a few days ago and they are making their way to Walmart stores.

Series 1 features The Mystery Machine, which includes Fred, Daphne and Velma figures, a ghost set with Scooby and Shaggy and blind packs that have a mystery figure inside. There are 12 mystery figures in all.

With this being series 1, I wonder if we can expect a series 2 in the Scooby line. I looked on the Playmobil website, but they don't have the Scooby-Doo sets listed as of today.

I think my favorite part of the whole set is the Scooby Snacks that come in the ghost pack!

The Scooby-Doo Playmobil sets are exclusive to Walmart through May, 2020.

Official Scooby-Doo Commemorative

This Scooby-Doo Commemorative by The Westminster Collection is officially licensed by Warner Bros. to celebrate Scooby's 50th Anniversary. It is plated in 24-Carat Gold measuring 40x40mm, with one side showing Scooby-Doo in all color and the other side displaying the Scooby-Doo dog-tag emblem.

The coin is only available in the UK for £19.99, and you can opt to be automatically enrolled in the Scooby-Doo collection, with the next coin being available in approximately 4 weeks.

According to The Westminster Collection website, the coin will ship on January 17, 2020.

Scooby-Doo! in King Arthur's Court

Greg Ellis

Wikipedia currently lists Scooby-Doo! in King Arthur's Court as the newest Direct-to-Video Scooby-Doo movie, with a release date that just says 2020.

According to Greg Ellis, who posted about it on his blog, the movie will be directed by Collette Sunderman and he will be voicing a villain in the movie and for his 4th time in a Scooby-Doo show saying the iconic phrase "And, I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for you meddling kids..."

Greg Ellis did the following voices in Scooby-Doo shows/movies:

Charles Weatlesby, Destroido Computer - Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
Dr. Messmer, Kitchen staff member - Be Cool, Scooby-Doo, "Mysteries on the Disorient Express"
Marius Brancusi - Big Top Scooby-Doo!

Scooby-Doo! and the Lost City of Gold

Scooby-Doo! and the Lost City of Gold is a live stage show that will incorporate puppetry, magic, music, singing, dancing, aerial arts and cutting edge technology.

The show kicks off in Halifax on March 19, 2020.

For more information, check out the official website

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? has been renewed for a 2nd season according to the show's producer, Chris Bailey. While there is no official release date, the show is expected to return in June, 2020.

I'm sure I'm missing something, but this is a lot of what is going on in the Scoobyverse in 2020. I'm excited for what 2020 holds and hoping for some amazing new merchandise!!
